Just to give you an idea of the tricks that you can start exploring, here are some of the free magic tricks that you'll be able to find online.

Magic card tricks: As mentioned above, magic card tricks are one of the most popular forms out there today. This may be due to the versatility that card tricks posses. Whether on stage or off stage, you can do a wide variety of tricks that will impress your audience. One particular magic card trick that you might want to start with would be the glass balancing trick. Here are some of the steps:

After purchasing your deck of cards, separate the joker and stick and fold it into half. One the fold has been made; stick the joker onto the back of any card that you like, leave the half of the card unstuck. Be careful when sticking the two cards together to prevent it from becoming conspicuous to your audience. During the trick, expose only the front part of the cards to your audience and depending on your style, distract them long enough so that you'll be able to unfold the joker at the back of the card, creating a shape and giving the card and additional leg that will be able to hold up medium sized glasses whether filled or unfilled.

Coin tricks:

Another simple yet entertaining trick to do would be pulling the coin out of thin air trick. Here are the steps involved:

The first step involves sticking a coin at the back of your hand with adhesive tape. Remember to move your hands naturally while trying to conceal the coin stuck at the back.

To start the trick, hide your hand from the audience, like the back of your ears or under the table. While your hand is hidden, say your very own magic words and then carefully flip the coin to front of your hands. This creates the illusion that you've pulled it out of thin air when shown to the audience.

Practice the tricks as long as you can to smoothen out your hand movements and make the tricks more natural looking.
