Magic Trick Instructions

Most people enjoy seeing magic tricks. It's not that they don't know that they are tricks, is just that when something impossible appears to happen right before your eyes, it really as amazing experience. That's especially true if you think that you have figured out how the magician is doing the trick, but then the magician does something that shows your assumptions are completely wrong. A lot of pleasure can also be gained from doing magic tricks. Of course, some people are professional magicians who go on stage or TV, but even ordinary folks like you and me can learn a few tricks. Learn them, practice them, and be able to perform them smoothly, and your tricks can amaze your kids, stun your friends and working colleagues, and liven up family parties and social events. If you are the kind person who likes to go with friends to bars, you can even use your tricks to get the occasional free drink in returning for demonstrating the apparently impossible. There are many web sites that you can use to learn magic tricks. Obviously the quality of web sites does vary, but some web sites have been very carefully prepared and include step-by-step instructions (sometimes even with photos or videos) for a wide range of tricks. I won't pretend that the best sites are necessarily free, because as with many things in life, you may get what you pay for – but if you look around, I am sure that you can find an affordable site with clear instructions. what ever you are most comfortable with.

I will tell you this the absolute strongest thing you can do if possible is to use a borrowed deck if your routines allow you to do so.
Or if you are performing in a formal show, opening a new deck right in front of your spectators is a good thing as well.

Remember magic is 10 percent the secret and 90 percent the presentation.

Q&A: Help with magic tricks?

Question by Snake: Help with magic tricks?
I am wanting to be able to do some magic like David Blaine and Chris Angel. Like card tricks and coin tricks like David Blaine. I saw this one video of Chris Angel where he took a rolled up piece of paper and lit it on fire and flicked it and it turned into a cigerrette, also where he did a larger piece and blew the fire out and it was a rose. If you know how to do any thing like this or know of any web sites where I could find some good info or possibly tutorials please let me know.

-Thanks,

Maybe you’ve already looked there, but ‘youtube’/expertvillage has lots of free magic videos, and you can search for the name of a specific trick or magician. There’s also ‘www.learnmagictricks.org’.

How do you preform a coin vanish?

Answer by alexsport3000
It is actually very simple to learn but hard to work out.
Step 1: spread out one handout so that no fingers touch.
Step 2: Hold it between your thumb and your index finger so that it holds well.
Step 3: Try to push the coin as far back as you can without it falling
Step 4: Move your thumb a bit back so that the coin can’t be seen through the side
Step 5: Spread your hands out except for that little part with the coin
Step 6: Test it on somebody

What do you make a coin disappear in your hand?

Question by Mark B: What do you make a coin disappear in your hand?
I’m a huge fan of magic and I was trying to do that trick where there’s a coin in your hand then it disappears and ends up in the other hand, or behind some ones ear?

If you know what I’m talking about could you please tell me how it is done.

Thnx

they actually just transfer the coin to the other hand & hide the coin between two fingers, close to the palm. you need to do it very quickly & practice hiding it while distracting the audience/viewer — keeping their gaze fixed on the first hand. make motions with your hands [abracadarbra, etc...] to distract them.
with a little bit of practice, this should be an easy trick to perform.

also check out some of the magic sites — go to search engines & enter some key words — there are sites that disclose tricks.

all the best & have fun :-) )
